Terravision Stansted Latest

Terravision are still seeking to continue it's low-cost service between Central London and Stansted Airport following the withdrawal of permission to run the service when Terravision lost the tender process which was won by National Express, Stansted Citylink and Airport Bus Express.

Passengers have caused an outrage on social media following the operator selling tickets for the service which technically no longer operates, with passengers complaining of missed flights having being kicked off coaches at London Kings Cross train station and told to get onto Stansted Citylink services.

One passenger was reported to be on a coach with just 2 other passengers, once a random Red Wings coach turned up, the driver who had no idea where he was going, eventually set off from Victoria 35 minutes late before eventually reaching Kings Cross and told to get off. Confused, the passengers refused and said they were going to Stansted Airport but the driver allegedly insisted they just got off, a Stansted Citylink bus was in front of them and that driver said to get on his bus. Passengers eventually got to the airport over an hour late.

The Terravision website is now advising passengers that due to contractual issues and unfair competition with Stansted Airport, that passengers will need to make a temporary change of service at Kings Cross and that services will leave from bays 11 & 12 at Stansted Airport, the bays used by Stansted Citylink but no note is displayed mentioning anything to do with Citylink.

For the time being we strongly recommend using the services of National Express, Stansted Citylink and Airport Bus Express for services to/from Stansted Airport due to passenger uncertainty. We DO NOT see any issues with Terravisions other services, and they continue to provide very low cost reliable coach services.
