Irish Citylink is a long distance coach operater based in Scotland and is a joint venture between ComfortDelGro (65%) and Stagecoach Group (35%) and was originally founded by Scottish Transport Group in March 1985 and was passed to the current joint venture operators in September 2005. It currently operates 19 services across Scotland along with a further 6 operated by Irish Citylink.

You can take two medium sized suitcases or rucksacks(no more than 20kg each) and one small piece of carry on luggage, free of charge. Carry on luggage must be capable of being placed in the overhead luggage rack or under the seat in front of you. Bicycles can be carried for €5 which is paid to the driver and is subject to space being available, you can not prebook space. If your a wheelchair user, standard foldable wheelchairs can be carried FREE in addition to your luggage allowance, mobility scooters and electric wheelchairs can NOT be carried.

Irish Citylink operate a fleet of coaches with comfort in mind, comfortable seats and most have onboard toilets, if not please approach the driver who will stop in the next town for you to go.

Irish Citylink will carry foldable wheelchairs free of charge in addition to the allowance above but can not carry mobility scooters. Passengers should call 091 564164 (Mon – Fri 0830 to 1830. Sat & Sun 0900 to 1800).

To amend a ticket contact Irish Citylink by calling 091 564164. Refunds may only be obtained by writing to the Customer Service Team, Citylink, 17 Forster Street, Galway. Citylink will only consider refunding a ticket if the reason for the cancellation is in some way caused by the company being at fault for example a late departure of a vehicle. Should you choose to travel on another one of our services as a replacement then no refund will be given. Or if extenuating circumstances arise being that you would be unable to travel such cases would be considered on an individual basis.
